I have ridden with snow trackers on the stock and mountain skis in all conditions and my XTX does not dart...A lot cheaper then a new set of skis ...BTW I have the aggressive ones.

Do you know where I can get info on the snow trackers? My brother still runs stock ski, and with out duallies it darts like crazy........

Those sno tracker things freak me out.
If they grab... Isn't the Nytro tippy enough.
I'd rather have my sled push a littel than trust that those things did't flip me.

They work...I haven't flipped once in 3000 miles LOL.

put some ulmer ajustable transfer blocks on & go one hole on rear strap set ski toe at 3/8 out ( kit is $55 ) money well spent

This will help a ton, you can also switch your spacers around on your ski's and gain a little width everything helps. Mine is just as stable then the wifes 06 Fusion now.

First of all, he shouldn't have to spend any $$$ at all to make the sled ride straight. I know what he's talking about, I'm having a heck of a time getting my 08 RTX to track straight on a groomed trail lately, and my gf can't ride it this way. On a few inches of soft or fresh snow, no problem, but on a hard packed, freshly groomed trail, it's like riding a wild animal ! I switched to Slydog race skis right away when I bought the sled 3 years ago after knowing that the Yamaha skis weren't the best for handling, but I'm getting tired of the excess darting after trying numerous adjustments. Alignment changes, shimming, suspension adjustments, nothing's worked for me yet this year. I bought new Float X shocks and oilite bushings, and that didn't help either. I think it's just the nature of this sled with the added weight over the skis. I'm hopefully going to try a 2010 RTX SE soon and compare, but even my 2010 MTX SE darts somewhat. I'm more of a ditchbanger and offtrail rider, but I still have to ride groomed trails quite a bit to get to the playgrounds, and the wild ride getting there is growing old on me....

One word......simmons....

You haven't flipped once in 3000 miles? I dont know anyone that I ride with that can say that!

Upside down is a lot of work and messy on a Nytro, getting old I guess.
