Was wandering how these skis work in deep powder conditions on the nytro?? Im thinking of ditching the Gen III simmons and trying something different but I ride alot of deep conditions out west here..

They float very well and cut a side hill even better. They are also very light.

They are good skis. On par with or slightly better than factory MTX skis in deep snow but the Grippers have better trail manners.

howd they compare with C&A XTX or pilots?

I think C&A's probably hold a line better, but I prefer the Gripper's easier steering effort in hard pack snow conditions. I don't think they excell anywhere in particular, but they perform good in a variety of conditions. It's a decent ski that's lightweight and very affordable.

Right thanks for the feed back! Gonna give them a try Im getting tired of the heavy steering of the Gen IIIs
