Please post your Viper model and whether the spindle is against the inside or outside of your ski ( and your ski stance - 42" or 43") Seems that the sleds are being assembled both ways and wanted to do a pole as to which location you have on your Viper.

So your came from the dealer with the narrower stance and you changed to the wider stance (spindle against inside of ski ?)

Yes, wider is better where I am. And how I drive!

My 2015 R-TX-DX came with spindles on outside 42"stance, moved to inside 43" stance last weekend. Won't know if there's any improvement until it snows again round here. Looking for any increase in stability, 1 " can't hurt. I went by the dealer a couple weeks back and the 2 Vipers on the showroom floor were set at 42" stance.

I believe the 2015 Assembly instructions say to set the spacers for the narrow setup. This is because some areas require a max width of 48in. The 2014 instructions say to set the spacers as desired but to keep in mind that some areas limit overall width.

I was told the same thing by my dealer. They needed a way to make the ski's conform to the 48" max trail width that some American jurisdictions. This allows them to do that but allow others to be wider if required.

2014 XTX, new with wide stance. change to narrow. don't see much of a differance in the tight twisties, might be a little easier to lay over in the pow.
They cant be centered unless you made your own spacers. either the factory spacer is on the inside or outside of the steering knuckle.Mines centered. '14 XTX
