Now i was in a hurry all day,and went home to change back to stock gears, and got a call that my cousin was already at the lake waiting, whata surprise,oh well in a hurry i for got to tighten w/a wrench my chain tension bolt, now you can figure it all out i guess, conditions glare ice than snow about 2-3" of dry powdery snow, and the ice was very rough in places where the wind blew it when it was soft, from our rain/thaw than deep freeze, anyways speed was way off from best, all i could muster before chain got completely chowdered up was 125 pr 112 gps but his rx1 all stock same 125 same studs 144 carbides plenty of miles well broke in 03 same as mine, now he saw 135 speedo last week on perry pond in benedicta,Maine perfect cond. when he was not studded,so we will retry later this week, but now we are getting snow,so it wont be as fast, now i will try my 39 bottom, sense my 38 is shot.

Hey Snowbeast,
Sorry to hear about your chain problems, hope it stops there and doesn't require bearings or cases. Anyways, I was reading your post about your cousin's 135 speedo readings, WOW, what kind of conditions did it take to manage that :?:  Is that an RX-1 or an ER.

Hi mororhead,it is red and has reverse, thats about all i know,he just added 144 studs, now that was w/out studs 135 mph,but still very good, his pulls w/mine down low and thru mid, even though mine has mods, but i think it had a lot more to do w/the chain going south,we will see when i get it fixed, yea the upper bearing is exsposed to chips and stuff,i washed it out real good and spun it several times, sounds great,i guess i will find out later, hope its not while i am on a trip.
mnm I worked with the radar on team setups all day. Was running 660ft. Tried your setup with hh and team helix and spring . A 48-38 F witha red-gray is 4mph faster in 660ft. and still pulling. Thought you might want to know. The stock weights with this set-up was 1mph slower. Stock secondary with silver at 80 twist was 1mph slower than the team.

Hi woodtic, was that helix you used a 48/38 angle, and a red/gray spring, just trying to find out if that was what you ment, cause if it is i dont have either one of those combos, sounds like it works good though, can you give me some more info on that helix and spring combo, and did you get it from team? And what was your speed in 660' and top? 8)
