Hey guys, I posted this in the mountain forum too, but figured you would be good knowledge also. I installed the float-bowl updates a few weeks ago on my '03 and changed the plugs about one week ago. Today out riding I noticed when boondocking at slow speeds it sounds like a popcorn maker making popcorn. Sorry, but thats the best way to describe the sound. It's runs awesome and I don't really notice a miss at all in the engine, but it has this constant popping noise real faintly through the exhaust. My question is......would I need to sync the carbs after just doing the bowl update? I didn't mess with any settings at all. Any ideas? It runs great and starts great, just this slight miss I guess. I did notice the #3 plug was a little wetter looking when I changed them all out about a week ago. Sync or just an adjustment?? Thanks guys!
