save your $ for gas and the necessary stuff

You must mean gas for your truck, I only spent about $150 this year on fuel for the sled. :o|

It makes you go faster....you didn't know that...plus everybody looks at it at the snowmobile show at the bar....
I have a buddy that does the samething....I don't get it

Its addicting but it looks "cool" :bling :tg:

$150 in gas for the entire year of riding?? Must not have rode all that much? The last trip up to the UP I think I put in around $100 in the sled lol

Y even bother posting something this dumb???? Its our sleds and we want to make them look different/ better. :bling AND we are stimulating the local economy.........We dont tell you what to do to your sled.... do we?? If you dont get it, dont comment, and dont call us rappers with gold teeth..... mine are platinum... powdercoated too!!!!!! HA

If you like yours stock that's your perogative. If you look at the ammount of vendors and people on this site that either sell aftermarket parts or custom services, or riders who customize their machines to their liking, I think you're out numbered here? It's all a matter of personalization, just like everything around you.
I'm as guilty as the next guy for customizing my sleds, and I'd hate to think of how much money I've spent on just the things that make it look different, but that's what I'm interested in, and that's not going to change. If people didn't want to customize their cars, bikes, sleds, or whatever, I wouldn't be in business either, as that's all I do for a living.
I make my living on people that want to be different, or stand out in a crowd.
If you're happy with things just the way they are out of the box, that's fine, just don't comment or comndem the people who enjoy a little flair!

X2 If you have that much invested in a sled might as well make it your own. Plus it looks damn good when done!

do you get your hair cut? shave? ever buy new clothes? do you paint your house? spend money on looks? it is an extension of you and your personality, people like to personalize everything they own, everyone does it, maybe not your snowmobile, but i guarantee you do somewhere in your life.

I do camo my boat for duck hunting, but that actually has a purpose and works to my advantage greatly when pounding the fowl with the 12 ga

There are some of us here who were raised by parents that were children of the great depression. They pounded into us that everything that costs money should have a real and benificial pupose. This can be both a benifit and a curse.

Wow guys, what a way to hijack a thread.

To the OP...if you haven't put oilite bushings in the front a-arms...now would be a good time to do it...and while you have it apart, send them out and powder coat them..they would look great in black...and you can kill 2 birds with one stone.
