There have been a few posts on here recently asking about Dave's kits, and making them work for the typical trail rider - i.e. stock appearance; exhaust exits from stock location; no headlight delete; factory gauge remains in place. I've been talking with Dave for a while now about what can be done to make this happen, and there are plans in the works. I just got off the phone with him again and the header/double downpipe to make this a reality are built and off for ceramic coating. These parts are being built for me, for installation on my personal sled. We're still a good month or more away from starting the initial install (I'm away for a few weeks over the holidays) and I expect there will be some glitches along the way - there always are when you're doing something for the first time. The end goal is to bring a kit to market that has all of the features (double downpipe, 4-1 header, RB3 controller, etc) without the compromises I've mentioned above. The block for this project will go out to Hurricane Racing before the 19th of December, and I hope to be starting the build early in the New Year.

I'll start a detailed build post once the parts are in-house. This package will need some field testing and tweaking along the way, but the end goal is to come up with a kit that offers a no-compromise option for the lake & trail crowd. Cold air intake is still a challenge, but if I have to build a mold to produce a factory looking blister for the Apex hood then I will.

Details to follow, I'm looking forward to getting this started. :flag:

Jim, I will starting my install of Dave's kit once it arrives here. I am hellbent on getting this as oem looking as possible i.e. air intake headlights etc. I will keep you posted on results
