MCX Mid Mount Race Kit Apex Mtn

Thanks everone. Appreciate it and I know MCX does as well. :yam:
Tank is 40litres which seems plenty so far. Working on the iinstall of the fuel sendor so I can watch the supply.
Heat has been very minimal to date and will get to test again this weekend and hopefully again the next.
Plan to increase boost levels to moderate levels watching all vital functions and heat related issues.
Will not go over the 20lb mark until next year as I have to source a motor to build.........anyone got an Apex engine for sale? like to have a stocker as well incase of any issues. I know of one hot rod sled waiting for the motor far too long. Don't want to be in that situation so I need two motors. :4STroke:

TS6 filiming will continue in the next week or so.........I better test a tad more before I throw it into a full commitment chute. :ORC

Appreciate all the support everyone.

Niiiice...I talked to Erik about just that a while ago...About mid mount race applications....I KNEW something was hiding in the bushes, but I never thought it was going to be on a mountain sled...

Any info on this setup and availability to public or maybe even a midmount conversion for the rear mounts already out? Thanks

I talked with MCX and they said they are going to make this kit into a production kit. But i didnt ask him about a conversion kit that would be a great idea. Syngery is thinking about offering a mid mount header tank and exaust upgrade for the mcx.

Here's a sneak peek of the kit. At this stage in late February, Erik was not sure if this kit would be manufactured as a kit, but they were considering making it as a kit later on. A few of these kits have been built on order to select drag racers from Finland, Sweden and Norway the last two years.

Climbmax - keep us posted on your progress with the kit, how it runs, power, boost, and so on :)

Anyone know what turbo that is? At same boost levels is this mountain setup being tested with a different fuel map than the rear mount?

Tom.............let me put it this way.......it's not a Garrett.

not totally sure on your second question.........but the mapping is perfect on the wideband.

Call if any more q's

Update.
Have ridden the sled 7 times now with zero issues. Only tightened hose clamps and all is good. Will probably have 12-15 rides on it by seasons end..........

I also have a friend who made his own Mid mount from an RX1 rear mount kit (3K) 2 years ago after he saw the original RX1 mid mount with 16t Mits. That one acutally uses the stock tank with a bit of re-fabbing by a plastic welder.
check out www.parkermotorsports.com ............i think that sled is on the market.
