I know amny of you have installed the hand guards. I checked out Sledder Steve's pics and they look good. I installed a set, they too look good, but my parking brake lever doesn't travel far enough. Were you able to get the guards positoned and still use the brake? Haven't tried yet. Just found out that mine didn't work. Any tricks or sugestions?
Thanks
Thanks

Just loosen up the bracket and rotate it until the brake lever has enough clearence. Tighten bracket then loosen guard and rotate back to desired position then tighten.

I just carry a little velcro strap in my bag when trailering and the lever flips over far enough to hold the brake but would snap back if looked at so with the velcro strap it didn't move the lever or my sled. I prefer not to move the levers beyond my comfortable feel therefore the velcro is perfect for me. Just my opinion.

Thanks for the input. I got the guards all adjusted to where they were comfortable and looked right to me. Never thought to try the brake lever. I'll try both approaches.
