Hey All -

I've seen a few pics of the Apex GT with the nice PowerMADD handguards. I want to add this setup to my sled. The question is - do I order the CHROME or the "BLACK CHROME" colour? Which one matches the chrome windshield on the '06?

Thanks!
Bill

i did black and chrome ?? good luck!! :o|

I've got some Chrome and Black ones that are barely used that I will sell to you. I had them on for one season then I went to the mid height windshield and decided to take off the handguards. I'll send you some pics if you'd like. Has all necessary mounting hardware.
I got these to match my Apex GT trim.

I used the all black ones with extentions and mirrors on my 06 black gt with crome windshield they look great.

This is what I have on my Apex

Black Chrome for me.
I lost a mirror lens last weekend, they are only held on with double sided tape which I thought was a bit cheesy. It will be interesting to see what they say.

Tantrum - does the black chrome match the chrome windshield? Or is it darker? I'd love to see back to back shots of Chrome vs. Black Chrome on a Apex GT with the stock '06 windshield.

I'm a little disappointed in the PowerMadd for size. Seem rather small to me. They do what I wanted though and that was to give support to the PowerMadd gauntlets.

What did you riders do about the throttle side? I was reluctant to attempt cutting back the heated grip to mount the attaching hardware.

Don't cut the grip, simply loosen the throttle assembly and slide it over a little bit.

Don;t these hand gaurds hit the sheild, or are you putting an extension to raise the bars? anybody got a pair of red chrome laying around?
