I know I've seen a post about this but I can't seem to find it now. Anyway, I bought some used Ski-Doo Precision skis to mount on my '06 Apex. I need to know what rubber bumpers to use under my spindles. It seems like the ones that come with the skis are too loose and I'm sure I read somewhere that some older vintage Ski-Doo bumpers work great. The only other thing I seem to remember is that the metal bushings need to be flipped around to give enough clearance for the bottom of the spindle to fit - I did this and it seems like a pretty good fit. Any input would be appreciated.

Ski Doo has 2 style rubbers in their kit. One of the styles looks similar to the Yami rubbers, but actually provides more heel pressure. This is the one to use. If you didn't buy the kit, you can use the Yami rubbers if you add some shim pieces about 3/8" thick under the back side of the pivot point.

BTW...This would also make the Yami skis work better.

Yes like 2002 mxz sleds. Call Bruce at Pioneer, he is also a ski doo dealer. That where I got my ski rubbers.
