Anybody else notice alittle snow and debris in the clutch area? It hasn't seemed to effect the clutching yet for me but when a buddy rode through some DEEP powdered banks he figured the belt had slipped on him. I'm wondering if a person should prefilter the hood vent on the clutch side

yep..i bought the one from doo..$21 cdn, snap the grill out and slide it on..just have to make a little cut

for any rev its called a prefilter sock,on the side panel..ill post a pic later today takes 2 min to put on

Thanks, man!!!

any pics? found the same issue on my mtx. Thinking about doing this, and also putting the screen on the front holes by the headlight.

Got some bird screen for free and hot glued it behind the two big openings in the hood. That should stop most of it.

I also removed all the foam on both panels, wow was that a lot of work. Peeled the foam out, let Goo Gone soak in, then scrubbed each one for about 10 minutes and then washed them both. Can't even tell there was foam in them though :)

A buddy used plastic door screen on his REV, gonna give it a shot on my Yami. What was the point of removing the foam?

It was peeling off on the clutch side and I didn't want it getting caught in the clutch so I decided to just remove it all.
