IS THERE A HOSE ON THE PRESSURE SENSOR AND WHERE IS IT GO? NOT THE AIR TEMP SENSOR ON THE AIR BOX, THE ONE THAT IS MOUNTED TO THE ECU BRACKET. IT HAS A NIPPLE FOR A HOSE BUT WHERE DOES THE HOSE GO?

The sensor in air box does not have a hose.

So where does the sensor get its signal from? it is mounted to the bracket on the ECU , has 2 wires. It is called a pressure sensor so I guess it just measures the air under the hood? Are we talking Barometric pressure?

Why don't you answer the question I asked you two days ago?So where does the sensor get its signal from? it is mounted to the bracket on the ECU , has 2 wires. It is called a pressure sensor so I guess it just measures the air under the hood? Are we talking Barometric pressure?
You have an electrical problem, not a hose problem.
I'm trying to help and you start a new thread....?

Hey Nitro its just frustrating when I can't figure this out. Keeps throwing code 20 and according to the book the barometric sensor is bad so I ordered one. Not sure how it works and I thought it might be connected to the air box by a hose since it has a plastic nipple on it. The barometric sensor is mounted on the bracket for the ECU with a 2 wire connector. Thank you for helping

The only time I ever saw this code was because the nipple was blocked with ice.
What's the other code showing?

Had code 14 and code 20. I replaced the air temp sensor in the air box but still not fixed. No longer throwing code 14. I even cleared the codes but code 20 still appears, according to the book its a bad barometric pressure sensor. Does this sound right?

Those sensors share the Black/Blue wire as part of their circuit. On the top left of the fuel rail(when sitting on machine) there are some connectors that join these wires. Slide metal prongs out and clean them.

New to Yamaha, though been a sledder for a long time. Do my own maintenance. Acquired a ‘07 Apex GT recently and having a wee bit of trouble. Hopefully some members can chime in with some guidance.
Background is, I bought the sled last year and given the late session purchase plus absence of snow did not burn a half a tank. All was good. Parked the sled for the summer and when I went to put it into service this year, right off the bat, had an issue. Mice come to find out had chewed through the fuel pump wires. Fixed that, started the engine and it would bearely run. Code showed...
