Can anyone chime in here and give me alittle info on this. I'm doing some clutch tuning and everytime I take my clutch apart theres significant amount of black dust I guess you could say where the outter shieve rides on the plastic buttons or whatever they are in there..is this normal? I clean it up everytime

That is belt dust and somewhat normal. As you belt wears the dust will accumulate on your primary and secondary. This is why it is important to inspect and clean as needed. Use acetone to clean all parts of both clutches. If you are burning through alot of belts, then you may have an alignment or center to center issue.

helpful tip-- coat under side of your belt cover with light coating
grease. it will collect dust, clean each time after a trip
