primary clutch torque spec

Hi all i took my primary clutch off today and cleaned it and put it back on and the torque setting in the manual says 112 ft lbs and then back off the bolt and set the bolt at 43 .. is this what everbody is doing cause 112 feels like iam going to snap off the bolt wow it seems tight .... ( 06 apex er ) and yess its a new snap-on torque wrench .......... thxs all

I thought it was 75 foot pounds then backing off to 45. And then again, no one really backs it off....

112 is a misprint from the 03 manual, cant believe it wasent corrected. torque to 75-80.

2006 manual says 85 first then 43.

I cant belive my shop manual has a mis print in it that should have been corrected in 03 that sucks ..
