Prmary Coil Resistance

I changed my plugs on my "04 RX1 and decided to also check the resistance on my primary/secondary coils. On the secondary a get a great reading of 5.72 Oms. which is right in the range they should be. My problem is the primary coils are supposed to be 1.8 - 2.2 oms. I only get Zero on all 4 primarty coils. Is this correct or is there some other hiding problem here ? I changed the plugs due to a slight sputtering after idle for 5 mins or so. High speeds no problem. Please help with this issue.
Aother issue I have been having is my reverse buzzer not completely shutting down in forward.
