Problems with hook up!!

There is not much stud that sticks above the paddle, and the sled doesn't tranfer all that well. Keep that in mind when deriving a solution within your budget.

I think My GT transfers GREAT! Keep it at min, and the skis stay on the snow. Put it in the middle and it rides really well. One more line and I can pull the skis over every ditch, puddle, or log. Put it to max, and it is alot of fun, but kinda dangerous! Just can't keep that front end down. I think it makes the sled ride so light. It really hides its weight well! Just continue to play with it, you'll find what is right for you! Honk

I found on my sons GT that when the Big Boy spring was installed we lost a lot of transfer. He has 144 down the middle so we changed one of the studs in the double backers and installed a chisel next to the stud. WOW. Major hook up. They just don't last that long. The double backers with the stud next to the chisel help keep them most of the season.

guys,if u dont stud enough and dont put them near the rails,u just wasted money...minimum 144 studs, not enough studs and u will break and bend them, the rail is where all the weight is so thats where u want studs, dont ever put studs directly in the center of your track, there is no weight there and your stud will not penetrate the ground...
