Hello!
I´m a new member and I´m thinking of get a turbo for my MM. The only concerns I have is if I will get problems with durability due to the power increase.... Since I live in Sweden I will probably go for the MCxpress rear mounted kit. That kit has been out on the market for one year(?) now and I thought that some people now will have experince of the kit.
:ORC
Is it a problem free life or is it necessary to adjust and fix things all the time? If you compare to a standard MM....
How would you rate the overall quality of the kit?
Is it possible to do maximum throttle climbs for 3 minutes?
Is it possible to pull passengers in a passenger sled (correct name or..?)? That is a good if I shall convince the family that I need a turbo...
Any problems to run at sea level one day and at 5000 ft the next day without any adjustments?
Is it possible to tow other sleds (have some Doo friends...) witout heating problems etc?
Other kind of problems that you don´t have on a standard MM?
And please mention also the benefits, It´s always nice to hear them...
Would be grateful for some answers.

3 minutes WOT???? You have bigger balls than I do. :ORC
OK.... Didn´t calculate with the higher speed from the the turbo. Let´s say 2 minutes then. :exc:
the following are results from our... try to kill it dependibility testing. although we don't recommend it, we have held our turbo wide open for 1 mile, making back to back passes, just to see if it would take it. we are happy to say it took it. we have also tested this in mountain applications and have held it wide open for longer periods due to the nature of mountain climbing, then we cranked up the boost to 9lbs to push it even further, the sled is still running like a champ. this was done on a entirely stock engine at 7.5 lbs of boost. jeff 1-414-698-6611

- Which one? I have 6
I have the MC rear mount unit on my Warrior. I have 2700 mi on it so far last season. That is a low mile year for me. I generally get in on about 5,000. No problems mechanically so far, even with extended WOT runs on the lake. Only problem is getting all that power to the snow.

OK guys help me out here. Isn't a MM a Mountain Max 700CC tripple 2-stroke? I have always seen that acronym used for the Mountain Max but maybe it means something else. If I'm right how is a rear mount turbo possible? :?

Exactly what I was thinking.
sweden may call their models by different names, i assumed he was talking about the mountain version of the rx-1. jeff
It´s a RX-1 Mtn, not a MM....
Sorry..

Buy it! I doubt you will ever regret it. I don't. The kit is well mannered, handles altitude flawlessly, gets good gas mileage, and can climb for extended periods of time at WOT (wide open throttle). A very high quality package developed by people who have been doing this for a long time. Since you live in Sweden the choice is easier. Have fun! RX FUN
RX FUN!

Anybody else that have experience......??

All of the MC kits around here worked well last winter - never heard of any problems/complaints from their owners.
