Well Kev and I decided to put in a few more hours last night.... and polish some more stuff and install a few things.
Little update...
So it's pretty well done now till the snow flies, just a couple small details and I still have to seal the tunnel.
This pic is for you Rick (nutter)!!!

Found a guy online that offers the service... I can solder but that is over my head. The LEDs in these things are about the size of the tip of a pen, lol.....
I went to Bluegauges.com, and dealt with Scott (great guy)... There may also be others that offer this.

How bad would it look if I just polished my tunnel? Should I give it a good wash with soap and hot water first? What are the benefits of wet sanding....

Sure you can just wash it then polish it... and depending on the polish you will still be happy with the results.
I have a few freinds that have only polished theirs, mine has stood up better, probably both because of the wet sanding and because I sealed it.
The wetsanding will give you that mirror like finish and will make polishing easier for the following years.

It was a joke that we had running over on Freddom Sledder... about guys who polished there tunnels and then would have to wear slippers for the year. Gotta keep it shinny!
