Project SOS

Awesome. Thanks. Man that's a long haul. So cool regardless of make or model, but I really hope the Nytro takes it lol

It was a 600 ETEC that he ran a 15 gallon tank, 5 gallon aux tank, and then refueled 1.5 gallons from a PWC mid ride.

Averaged 37 miles and only got 5.2 miles per gallon so we feel with the 4 Stroke we should see better fuel mileage than that.

With me running the Cor PowerSports XC series we have quite a few things we need to get ready for the upcoming race season, our Hay Day's booth, and our annual fundraiser golf tournament so once those things are done we will make another go at the record.

We are looking at Sept 29-Oct 6 so I will keep posting here updates.

I will have the sled in our booth at Hay Day's so stop on by!!

Make it happen Todd! See you at Hay Days

At Lake Winnebago I averaged 49mph on GPS but speedo was showing close to 70, it just seems a ton faster because of all the waves and chop.

I'd say it was about as rough as running down the Handy Dancer corridor trail on a Saturday afternoon!

With the changes we made just prior to Grantsburg the sled is handling and working so much better!

Thanks guys, we'll keep pushing forward!

We have decided to postpone anymore attempts this year to set the Guinness mileage record and spend the winter to regroup and rebuild for next spring to beat the new 112 mile record set this summer by Antti Holmberg in Finland.

We will continue to be posting on here the updates as things progress but in the meantime we can not thank all of our sponsors and supporters enough.Special thanks to Brian McCurdy Jr for all his work this summer getting the sled to the point we are at.

Without help from the sponsors we would not have progressed to where we are, so huge thanks to:
Cor PowerSports
Fly Racing
Bikeman Performance
Rox Speed FX
ArcticFX Graphics
Iceage Performance
Port Yamaha

And most of all huge thanks to the support from the entire IWA series and it's racers, next summer we plan on bringing the record back to the US!

We will have the Project SOS Nytro on display in the Cor PowerSports booth at Hay Day's (EB3) so stop on by and say Hi, we love the fan interaction!!

Well confirmed our fear, I tore my Labrum in my shoulder and having surgery next week so we won't even get anymore testing this year...

Guess 2014 will be the year we bring the record back to the US!!

With 4 compressed discs, two herniated discs, 8 pinched nerves, and a slightly dislocated vertebrae that I raced with last winter (won the points championship by the way) I am familiar to riding in pain...

My sponsor EVS is sending a shoulder brace for me to wear when I do get back on the sled which will be hopefully as soon as snow flies!!
