have a 06 attak now with 2500 miles on the sled, i bought it with 1700. at the begining of the riding season the sled would turn the proper rpm of 10500 at wot, now the sled turns over 11000. everything is stock on the sled and the belt was new at the start of the season, and seems to be riding in the secondary clutch like it should. any suggestions??

where were u checking the rpm at just noticed it on a trail or were u on a lake

well with that data i wouldnt worry about it it u havent touched the clutch it shouldnt have changed i pretty confident that the track is just spinning on ice

Buy a new secondary spring. 16 bucks...

i dont think he has to wont change anything i still thing hes just spinning on some ice it only happens everyonce and a while on lakes and logging roads

The more miles these things get on them, the more power they make, that is going to cause you to build rpms.

its only got 2500 miles i got 5500 on my 05 rage still tach the same as the day i bought

i have 144 studs, the sled would always turn right to 10500 when pinned but now it is always over 11000 whether n trail or lake. ithught that the spring in the clutch may be getting weak, not sure though

If a spring in the clutches is junk it will usually show low RPM because it becomes sacked out and does not have the same tension it used to.
