proper way to delete classified post

guys... I'm new to posting and made my 1st purchase from from the classifieds. How do I delete my WTB post? (the White Knuckle QC-1 exhaust) I can't find the option to delete the post under the "Edit post" feature. I've seen some of the ads had "sold, please delete" edited into the title. Is the proper procedure, or what do I need to do?

Also when I sell an item, what is procedure on my end before I delete the post? As a courtesy to the members, should I first update my post to say the item has been sold, or just delete the post?

If you change the title to ***Delete** * (edit out the entire previous title)That really helps us without taking up a lot of your time. Within a few hours, a day tops one of the moderators will remove it. Thanks for asking.

I went ahead and deleted the one you mentioned, left the Hauck one alone


reason I like ***delete*** is it is quicker to spot.

You can also PM a Moderator. I get PM's asking to delete a thread all the time.
