PSI for fox floats?

Revster,

Not sure how big you plan on going with that thing but If you plan on going big Im running 125 in the main chamber and 300 (maxed out) in my evol chamber but im running evol x's. A buddy running the X's that launches his is running 115. Also be carefull with bottoming cause both my lower A arms are bowed from this season.

Thanks for the help. I was thinking of starting around 100 psi and going from there. (Max is 150 I believe)

How often are you getting yours rebuilt?

Ummmm, I was going to get mine rebuilt re valved over the summer because I could not get them not to bottom but Now that I have the evol chamber maxed out they are working great. I rode yesterday with some big hits and they felt amaizing so I dont think Im going to do anything to them over the summer. So 2 years I would say as of now and I have put on 1400 miles so far this year. And a side note Im not sure that I am sold on the Evol chamber, I think the clickers on the X's are the big deal so the factory ones I think will be just as good as my evol X's

I have heard that with fox, then the front does not hold its height. is this true? Like my front end high and are afraid to switch to Fox. But i must do something. For these original shocks is quite crappy.

I have not run standard floats but with any float the ride height is as simple to adjust as adding air. Now that will affect ride as well unless you go to the X's or evol x's. I think the evol does not do alot for me because I need a ton of bottoming resistance but for a normal rider it would allow you to run the main chamber where you want it for ride height then use your evol for bottoming and clickers for resistance.

Yeah I used to do them every year but I thing every second year is more then enough. (Not getting the miles I used to.)

I actually just talked to my buddy down in the states that is the mechanic for a factory polaris pro snowcross/freestyle rider and he is going to set them up for me this summer with a totally different set up than what I have ben running and I will be using the air only for ride height compression will be compleatly with valving. Supposed to have a lot better rebound. So I guess mine are getting rebuilt but not cause they had to be.
