Did a bunch of lake running. Ice was anywhere from 7-12+ inches. Very hard packed though. I went all weekend without any overheat though. Not sure how, I suspect my sled is cooled by some sort of miracle water. You'll see in the pic what I mean.

Was able to do a couple top speed runs. First year with the sled so not sure how well she did. Seemed to top out at 180KM/h on the speedo at about 10,500RPM

Anyway, put a couple hundred KM's on. Felt good.

Where were you riding?

That was on Sturgeon Lake in the Kawartha's.

Tried the trail up from Lindsay to Fenelon as well. From the conservation area to Fenelon it's basically garbage as of yesterday. More stone than snow. I hear it's better North of Fenelon Falls but I didn't check it out as my Dad's sled started spewing coolant and overheated 4km's into our first ride. So I was solo all weekend and didn't feel like going for a tour by myself.

I was just surfing yesterday looking at cottages for sale (dreaming) and one was on Sturgeon Lake. My buddy went from Minden to Fenelon Falls Saturday and said the trail was in good shape but very busy. Might try to get out next weekend.

was the wot runs on hard pack? sounds like you are missing some kph if it was but the tac is right on. loved the rx1 i test drove before i got my war but my war is hitting the same speeds you are. you should be higher.
