Getting ready to put mono back in have a few questions. Do I loc tite the four bolts? and is there a certain torque they need to be torqued at. thanks
It's good to use lick-tite unless you will take your suspension out every week.
I noticed also that if you disconnect transfer rod from another end, it will be more easy to locate the holes.

Just pulled mine to reinforce. Yes, loosen the transfer rod and then just 'float' the supension..the bolts will line right up. I personally never loctite these bolts, in fact, I put anitsieze on them. They are so easy to check once in a while, and I haven't had one loosen in 25 years, on various sleds. I have broken bolts that were loctited, and this is more of a pain than an occasional twist of the wrench to check.

I only undo the limiter strap and it releases all of the preload and she slides right out...
If you want to remove your shock without having to pull the skid out, again undo the limiter strap and the preload is completly let off the shock.
I'm talking of a MONO RA skid 121" or 136"

I thought it took alot of "finesse" using the track tension adjusters to get the rear bolts to line up while re-installing. .....Alot different than SC-4.

Actually, the mono is by far the easiest suspension I've pulled. Honestly, my son and I can do it in a few minutes, if pressed to do so. Loosen the 19 mm rear idler nut, back off the track tensioners until the nuts almost come off, remove the coupler rear bolt, remove the rear upper susp bolts, remove the front arm (individual..no cross shaft) ..DON'T FORGET TO REMOVE THE SPEEDO CABLE FOR THE SHOCK!!!
Take it out..super easy.
With the sled on a hook, after putting susp front bolts back in, I use my knee or a floor jack to lift the rear up..the rear bolts can go anywhere you want..no stress in the susp. Pop the bolts in, tighten them all, replace the coupler (transfer rod) bolt, tighten the track, align, tighten the 19 mm bolt..all done.

It came out easy enough, waiting to see how easy it goes back in??? I would thoroughly clean the bolt threads, and use Blue loc-tite. Better to be safe, than sorry

Should go back the same way. Easy. Better if someone gets that first bolt in, though.
