So yes my 2007 GT only has 1600kms. I just bought it with 1000kms. It IS like new.

Last night I was doing some checks with the sled on my lift. Out of curiosity I checked for play in the front end and there seems to be a bunch from the a arms where they mount in the bulkhead. Turns out that ALL 4 bolts spin. Is this normal? I can't see the nut inside to get a wrench on it. How do I get at these?

I am going to ride this weekend but after that I will probably pull it apart and check unless this is normal.
Thanks in advance for any help. This is one amazing machine and if I can get this severely soft rear suspension setup for next year I will have this thing a long long time.

Yes, this is normal. The bolts are shouldered at the end and will only tighten so much. The bolts are meant to keep the components in place and not to keep the A-arm tight. That's the bushings job.
You can purchase an oilite kit and replace the plastic bushings that Yamaha originally put in.
This will help get rid of the play in the A-arms and last longer than the plastic bushings.

Thank you so much. This is exactly what I was hoping. So if they are shoulder bolts with lock nuts then I have no need to worry. This summer I will add better bushings. THANKS!

Only 1,000 miles, lol!!!! I just replaced my front end bushings with the oil-lites at 7,000 miles last spring.....they didn't have to be changed but I did the "preventative maintenance" thing, lol!!
