A Arm and Bulkhead Bushings

I'll do that if you'de like, but it'll be a while. The sled's still in storage. Basically all I've done is drill and tap holes for grease zerks - and after one bad start, I learned you need to consider getting the grease gun on the fitting after everything's been reassembled! Anyone capable of installing these bushings shouldn't have a bad time with it, and it's cheap to do even if you have to purchase the tap. It's much easier to do when you can have the part off the sled on the bench - and the parts are off anyway as part of this project.

An hour? Really?

I must be gettin old. I'm hoping the installation of zerk fittings everywhere will keep things lubed up well enough, where I don't have to go back through that experience again for a while.

Sorry, i meant 1hr just to take it apart. Took me about 45-60 mins to take it apart, but being summer i wasnt really working on it the whole time just kinda slow, lol!

Probably takes about 1hr 30 min to 2hrs from start to finish, but i basically put the sled on the lift in the summer and work on it when i feel like it so never really payed to much attention to time.

Post some pics and stuff of those zerks, I'm interested to see what you did.

I'm just getting started on replacing the bushings. I'm getting a complete set from pioneer, A-arms, bulkhead and spindles. I've got all the plastic off. I can see the nuts down in the bulkhead and looks like I can get a long wrench down to them. Taking them off might not be to bad. I'm not sure if I could line them up to get them back on. Am I supposed to take the bulkhead off to replace the bushings?

update
decided to move on to the oil change. Got a clear view of the bolts when I removed the battery tray.

I took one of the white plastic washer from the inside of the a arm and put that under the steel washer on the inside of the bolt , the washer fit right inside it. That was enough to stop the bolt from rotating and now the a arm pivots on the bolt and not the bolt pivoting in the bulk head. I did this 10.000 miles ago and no problems to date

Can you elaborate an where you put the plastic washer. Per the parts feiche there should be a plastic washer on the bulkhead end of the A-arms. 2 top and 2 bottom for each.side. where are you putting extra plastic washes to keep A-arm bolts from turning?
