does anyone know where you can purchase the bearing seals for the koyo 6005 rs bearings. these bearings are the ones found in the smaller idler wheels. the dealer wants to soak me 60 dollars each wheel, so I would like to repack them with grease instead. they say the bearings dont come out of the wheel, they are pressed in,

Royal Distributing. they deliver next day.$24.00 for small wheels $28.00 for big rear axle wheel and comes with bearing .cheep bearings to in packs of 10 $35.00.(If you want to pull the seals off them)
Dealer tried to get me to spend $60 on a wheel you couldn't replace the bearing on.ERRRR.
Royal D. has an online catalog.

Good luck

probably cheaper in the long run to buy yamaha accessory wheels for $30 each with replaceable bearings. Then, when those bearings wear out, buy new bearings in bulk from someone.

Agree!!! Get Yamahas newer wheels that are spoked and have replaceable bearing for allot less!! IMO they are made better and look really cool!!! ;)!

These bearings don't have to be removed from the wheels to repack them. I repack them every year by just removing the seal and cleaning the bearing out and repacking them. The seals don't need to be replaced either, just straighten them out if you distorted them while removing. I have over 7 thousand miles on these bearings and they are just as good now as they were when the sled was new.

found a place that sells koyo bearings

found a place in hamilton ontario that sells the koyo bearings, I think I will try to punch them out with a hammer and piece of wood, if not, I can buy a 12 ton home shop press fairly cheap locally, this should do the trick, I dont trust the seals after I repacked them, I think they will leak or spit grease all over the place . thanks for the help.

If you use a dental pick or something that small you do not hurt the seals.I have been repacking bearings like this forever and the seals work just fine. Cheaper than buying new wheels or bearings.

You can also buy the replacement Yamaha wheels from their accessories catalog. They have removeable bearings...don't ask me why they decided not use them in their production sleds.
