Question on Speed Sensor and TORS

I have an 06 Attak that I blew the axle bearing out at the end of riding season last year. I replaced the bearing and ran the sled on stand and speedometer worked last Spring...so I figured the speed sensor was OK. Pulled sled out of storage this winter and first trip around the house the speedometer does not read and I am getting codes 84 & 42 (Speed Sensor & TORS). My question is will a faulty speed sensor set off the TORS code or do I have two seperate problems.

Any help would be appreciated.

Yes

Faulty speed sensor will trip TORS code as well as shorted speedo sensor code.

Thanks for the reply. I have a new speed sensor on order and hopefully this will solve both codes.

You can bypass the tors if you want to ride til the sensor comes in. Simple search should find it.
