As I was taking off my Floats today and putting back my OEM Coilovers, I noticed the left coilover was almost touching my upper a-arm. I looked at my right coilover and there is more clearance between it and the upper a-arm than the left side. I bought my sled with the 09 subframe already installed. Does this sound like I may have a slight tweak in my subframe? It looks like at one time, the coilover rubbed a little on the upper a-arm as some of the paint is scratched. Since it's a slight difference from the left shock clearance to right shock clearance, should I just keep it that way? Thanks.

Thanks. Are SF expensive? After reading about removing and installing one, not sure I want to take on this project.

It doesnt take much to bend them even the reinforced ones. I snagged my ski on my trailer side rail loading it going about 5 MPH and that is all it took on an 08. It is how you hit something not how hard you hit something. the a-amrs act as large leverage points if you hit something with one ski.
The only thing motor related is the computer that is held on by two small bolts and a strap i think on the front of the sub-frame. You just have to swing it out of the way and dont have to unlug any wires . that is it 6-8 bolts and the whole things falls in your lap. Oh you do have to remove one end of the steering transfer rod as well from the lower end of the steering post as wall as the lower steering post mount then it is just a matter of transfering parts from one sub-frame to the other. The only thing i thought was hard was aligning the skies and that is more time consumeing then anything.

Thanks for that. I may try to bend it back 1/4" or so. That's all it looks like it may be off. Never really took a overhead look at it to see if one ski is further back than the other. But I'm so anal on everything, I would notice if it was or not. I may just try the bending and get in contact with Grizz and see if I can get a set of those gussets to weld on.
