Hi guys. I have an 09 xtx that has a lower a arm pushed back. The front shock is nearly touching the back of the right a-arm. Causes sled to veer to the right constantly.
I have read through all the threads I could find and the 2 temp solutions are using large pry bar and other being come-along method.
After deciding pry bar would likely bend top a- arm I would like to hear from you guys that have successfully used a come-along . Specifically where you mounted each strap. It's my right side of subframe that's pushed back.
Any other ideas are also welcome. Thanks.!

i can't help with the come along fix but make sure once you have it straight again to PM Grizz and get yourself one of his gussit kits to reinforce it.

You need to stabilize the chassis so your pulling on just the arm and applying force to just the sub frame. Since your applying force to the arm straight to the front you need to also apply a counter-pressure force to the chassis to prevent it just pulling forward, so maybe strap from the pass side foot hoop to a strong anchor point behind the sled. Then there will be a twisting force front to back on the sled as you pull on the arm way out by the spindle, so you need to strap the drivers side rear bumper straight to the side so as you pull on the arm the arse doesn't come around. You then are going to strap the lower arm as far out to the spindle as you can, namely right at the ball-joint and pull straight to the front. Pull slow and adjust your counter straps as needed. Pull just a little further than putting the shock back in center and leave the pressure on for an hour or so, maybe overnight. When you release the tension its going to return some and hopefully it goes in center like you want.
Move anything metal and its stressed and weakened, pull it back and even more so. I.E. you NEED a grizz kit to keep it straight going forward. ~$75 to grizz, 2 or 3 hours of your time perhaps to get it off, $50-75 to a welder (maybe free once you tell him what a cool sled you have and what he's doing for you, but don't bank on that, bring a 12 pack that usually slicks a deal pretty good), hour to put it back.

Send it to grizztracks. He has jig arms made up and straightens the sub frame and welds his gussets in.

When I did mine I wedged a board between the upper a arm and the footwell, then used prybar method. Got it really close and did grizztracks gusset, that will hold it from bending back again
