well went to my dealer today an look at a red/white 137 sidewinder well i fell in love. did not think i would buy into this cat thing but i'm coming around i think but he told me when they went to yamaha school tat Yamaha told them any mod's done to sled no warranty so if do buy keep your stock stuff even the clutch kits will be no warranty. he said that his tech ask how come an they where told new rules coming down from big Canada because they are in charge.
That is bologna ! the warranty states that if any damage is done as a result of modifications it is not covered but even when we installed the MPI Stage I turbo in 13 on the 14 Viper before the 15 release of the factory approved trail turbo we were told that the only thing that would not be covered if it was caused by the mod. and they replaced reverse motor, hand warmers 2 times, speedo unit, & header under warranty.
Now when the motor blew they blamed that on me even though it was not my fault it was Hauck powersports.
