I am looking at buying a new track for my Rage, and have a few questions. I was intending on extending the track to a 144 and having a track with 1.5in lugs. As i can't seem to find a track that fits that description, i'm wondering which would be the best route...going with a 136x1.5, or going with the 144x1.25. I like riding powder, but do go for trail rides with my father. It's about 50/50. The 136 ripsaw just isn't cutting it in real powder, though it rocks on the trails. I'm pretty sure i want the 144, as i need more flotation. So maybe the real question would be 1.25 or 2in lugs? Any help would be much appreciated.
Also, i'm looking for new skis too, as the front end dives quite a bit. I was thinking of getting '05 mt. skis. I'm guessing they would have almost the same trail manners as the stock skis? If not, what skis would work best for my application? Once again, any replies will be greatly appreciated.
