When I run my Rage with the track in the air (just wanna hear it before it snows) I can hear a loud ratcheting from underneath. Turns out that the track is hitting the front of the slide rails Has anybody else noticed this? Is this normal? Does the Warrior do this?

Don't worry about it. Lots of Yamaha's do this, including the RX-1's. The suspension is fully extended in the situation you describe, so the track slides onto the rail at a steeper angle, something that rarely happens in the real world. Don't loose sleep over it.

Thats what I'm talkin about. I like to get airborne and I know I'm not the only one. I thought about tightening the straps but don't want to lose my weight transfer either. I read a review in Supertrax where the author said it was set up way to light in the front end and he had to dial in more ski pressure. I'm guessin he pulled the straps up.I guess I'll just have to wait for snow and play with it. That's half my fun of sleddin is figuring my machine out.

Yeah After reading snowsweats previous posting I have to agree with him; liking to wait to ride before making any changes and seeing forsure what affects each change has.The adjustments on the Rage are much easier to get to than the proaction on my 2000 SXR700. You would think though that a spanner would have been included in the tool kit. One from my old M-10 works just fine. This skid finally can be tuned on the trail!
