Both my Apex and Phazer have ram mounts. They use the ball attached to the handlebar.
I try not to put them too far up in the sky as the shaking can break the ball loose from the mount. When kept low, they are the most durable mounts around.
I do like them on the handlebar as they are close and I can glance at them without taking my eyes off the trail for very long.
Since they use standard 1" RAM balls, I can swap GPS on both sleds and even put them away and use the balls for camera mounts.
In the summer, they move right over the bike.
Ebay is your friend for RAM products. There are so many folks selling used, and there are tons of discount options.
Good luck!

Is there anywhere to mount it besides the handlebar/riser. I would think on the handlebar it would vibrate alot and you wouldnt be able to see it when driving. I dont want to drill holes in the plastic though.

If you don't want to drill holes, then the U-bolt on the handlebar is your option.
I just puton 72 miles yesterday on my Apex with it mounted this way and it was fine. The Lowrance on the handlebar of my Phazer has taken a much harder beating.

I had mine on the riser and had no vibration or visibility issues with it.

Mines on the riser, buy the ram, and all you need is another ball mount for your motor cycle.
On the riser I can push it down flat to the riser to pervert damage when things go to hell, which is quite often.

If you have mirrors on your sled (and you should) use one of the mounting bolts as an anchor. I got a bolt that was a bit longer but even that wasn't necessary. I mounted on the left so I have power when needed. Very clean and effective. I'll post some pics if it would be helpful.
