Many Guys just cut the closed window open and dont add any clips and run extros. It took me about 45 min to cut the windows open on my 151, also running wahl extros with no clips added. Hyfax wear is not a problem. ===SRXSRULE===

Rules, what did you use to remove the closed windows. I'm presently running 136inch (9922) with CPR front mount and have a ratcheting problem. Should have added extros from the gitgo (hindsite is 20/20).

I cut the windows out of a 151" x 2" track from a RX-1 Mtn with a Bender rear mount turbo the other week, it wasn't too bad. I used a dremmel tool to cut them out.

It takes me about 1/2 hr to do a 151" track with a couple of wood chizzles and some soap and water .....

I had to reply to this post with the results of cutting out the closed windows, not adding clips and adding extroverts. While doing a general suspension/track inspection I noticed that every 3rd extro on the drivers was severely worn and the track was starting to wear where there were no clips.
My conclusion is that that the drivers are only driving on the clips (which are every third bar). So with 9 tooth drivers, the clips are wearing the same 3 extros. My fix is to add clips to all the bars. Please note that I have put on about 1000 miles since I cut out the windows and added the extros.
ON A MORE POSITIVE NOTE, I CAN RUN THE TRACK LOOSE LIKE A SRX AND IT DOES NOT RATCHET!!!!!
