Sounds like Yamaha knows these sleds should have come from the factory with these rear heat exchangers and they're trying to make some extra cash now.
I have the 06 Attak and added a rear heat exchanger after my very first ride. It was 35 F with wet heavy snow and the front exchanger kept filling up with slush and the sled would over heat. Put on the rear exchanger and now I can ride when it's 45 F and snow!
And I only paid $100.00 for the big exchanger for my Attak!!!!! But back then it was the heat exchanger for the Warrior. My dealer said he installed about 80 of them on the older Warriors. If you want to ride in warm temps.............you need the exchanger.

Well, good to know the old coolers aren't inferior. But how do they justify tripling the price overnight?
