I've heard Yamaha has decided to ship some of thier 136" models with a rear heat exchanger stock, but our local dealer doesn't know about the XTX. If anyone has information concerning a rear heat exchanger for the 09 Nytro XTX sharing it would be appreciated.

The Nytros have a fairly large radiator mounted under the hood & one huge heat exchanger at the front of the tunnel. No need for any more.
The models to get a new exchanger at the rear are the Apexs for sure, & I think Vectors. They suffered from overheating, especially in extreme hardpack conditions.

My Vector LTX GT has the rear exchanger, it's the Apex LTX that needs it. I hope the XTX doesn't suffer from the overheating issues of the Apex's.theCATman said:
