Is the RX-1 Mountain able to use the rear heat exchanger? All the post's i've read on this show it being used on a shorty version of the RX-1. If it can be used, where can I purchase one, and about how much are they?

Also, scratchers on the sleds....after a short search I've found two different types, one that mounts to the ski's and the other to the track.

which one should i use? to keep my track from sticking to the metal clips after it heats up?

I use the one's that Hartman sells for the skis. They work great, gets everything under the middle of the track, exchangers & hifax. Rarely use them, but early morning when riding the trail to the powder sometimes the freshly groomed trail is packed/frozen. I just drop the scratchers and away I go. I think he has a new mounting option for the mountain skis. I had to make my own. I would recommend Hartman. Here is a link http://www.hartmaninc.com You will have to download the catalog, I don't think he shows them on the site. YaMon

About the rear heat exchanger, yes you can purchase one from Yamaha. I have one on my 04 and it has never heated up since it was installed and I do a lot of trail riding with it too.
