Ok i have been looking around on the site for awhile an im seeing a trend. These sleds need more cooling for low snow conditions. An what i have seen is two options, an apex radiator by the brake, or a rear heat exchanger. I would rather do the rear heat exchanger, but i cant find anything for info. If someone could point in the right direction, i would be greatly appreciative.

Have done both and both work well. But the radiatior w/fan works better in all conditions; Setting, low snow, hard pack and icy conditions. Where the rear exchanger only helps while moving and with snow hitting it.

No offense hibshman25, but if you are going to install a rear cooler install the mountain cooler. It's like 5 times bigger than the 121
I've put the rear heat exchanger in 3 Rx1's. It solved all my problems. Still riding 2 of them. It's an easy install.

I installed a radiator and fan on one of my RX1's last season. It was pretty easy. I had it hitched up to a toggle switch last year but this fall I went to Napa and purchased a sending unit to make the fan come on when it gets to 220 deg. Ill see how that works as soon as we get any amount of snow around here.
