Was just checking things out on my skid and noticed i could grab the rear shock and move it side to side some about a 1/16 each way! this is on the bottom mount of the rear shock is this normal?


No.Spacers missing or bushing shot?

i have never had the skid apart so i dont think its missing anything damn! now i got to go out and get some more fire wood for the garage.

oh yeah canondale i also noticed the to clips in my airbox are loose was thare a fix for this someware? i did a serch and couldnt find anything


It was part of the steering recall.They removed the rivets and put washers on the back of new ones.Before that what I did was strung small zipties together and though the folded over parts of all the clips.Might want to check with your dealer to be sure you got that steering update it also addressed icing in steering and was a mandatory recall.

2007 Yamaha Phazer GT
The service bulletin is 2007-007. I took my airbox off and took it to the dealer for the airbox rivets. The previous owner had the update done but one of the rivets was not seated properly. It cost me $2 in parts.

yup just checked top and bottem shock bushings are sloppy you think yamaha will cover this on my extended warranty
