Someone pls help me. I'm 400 lbs. I have a '04 warrior and an '05 venture. I bottom them both out on the slightest of divots or bumps on the trail. Anybody have a suggestion for me before I wreck every disc in my back?

the 04 war has what is called an fra setting on the end of the rear shock towards the middle of the sled. from what you are saying, you need to make sure it is either all the way at the bottom of the slot or the middle. adjust it as nessasary to get the below settings. then you need to tighten the spring up on the rear shock until the transfer rods at the rear are at roughly 50/50 or 60/40 with you sitting in the riding position. the same thing applies to an sx venture.

for an rs venture, you need to turn the cams up on the rear torsion springs until you get it to 50/50 on its transfer rod assembly sitting on the seat.

how many km are on each sled? have shocks ever been serviced on either of them? they require service every 3000-4000 km on average for best performance. learned the hard way.

I am having a similar issue while riding with my youngest in front of me. Combined we are approx. 300lbs. Would you happen to have any photos? I need to stiffen the suspension on both my 2005 RX Warrior and my wifes 2005 RX1. Thank you

the fra is where the shock connects at by the small wheels in the pick. at the top of the slot is soft, middle is meduim and at the bottom is hard. i usually use it on medium and adjust the spring tension to get the 60/40 i prefer on the transfer rods with my #*$&@ on it. when i carry a passenger, i would turn it up to hard.

i have no idea on how to set the monoshock on the 05 rx1 but there ate quite a few guys that are good at it on here. i would suggest a shock refresh to start with as anything over 2000 mi it is overdue for a refresh and most likely out of nitrogen in the shocks. didn't belive how much a difference it made until i did it.

Thank you. Turned it up and did 80kms with my daughter. Big difference
