rear view mirrors

I just received oem side mount mirrors. I was expecting handlebar mounts. I have a 2006 vector rs. I checked the site and they show both types. Where are the side mounts supposed to mount. Thank you in advance. Just checked another site and found indents under windshield where they go on the cowl.

White "sites" are you referring to? My 05 has the mirrors that mount on the "cowl", above the headlights and below the windshield. None of the OEM YAMAHA side mount mirrors seemed to work real good from what I saw.

On our Attak and Vector LTX we use the Tall Indy Style Polaris mirrors. Bought them on EBay. they work. The OEM's did not work.. too bad..they are of better quality but didn't work at all. Pic is of the Indy style location..same as OEM I believe..

Thanks for the information. Unfortunately I installed the oem mirrors.

you can use the same mirrors, and buy the small handle bar bracket for that install (fairly cheap for bracket.....) attaches at handle bar clamp bolts
