mirrors

Thanks for the reply. Can you post a picture of your sled with the mirrors on it? I would like to see them mounted before I buy them.

BRB... Thats what I put on mine. The kit comes with paper templates for mounting to each side that match your side panel profile. After mounting, (using the templates) I found that the mirror heads do not turn outward enough and you end up only being able to see the back of your own sled. I was able to elongate the holes in the side cover and turn the mounting base to be able to see behind me. So be aware and purposly drill the holes that are closest to your knees outward about a half an inch from where the template indicates.

I spent a good amount of time on the trails this weekend and I thought the mirrors were ok. I do have to lift my forearm to see the mirror. Hope this helps.

So they must mount on the sides of the sled just below the windshield?

These mirrors are awsome.

Great mirrors for the the older Vectors, but will not work on the 2008's.

Anyone try the rev mirrors on an 08? I'm thinking off giving it a whirl as it would put them right up a eye level. Won't be the prettiest but what mirrors are.

There's another huge advantage to the Vector mirror kit. It was a bit of a pain to install, but they fold back when installed so the cover still fits. I like mine a lot.

The mirrors you put on your sled will not work on the 2008 RS Vector-just to clarify as this post was started to get information on mirrors for the 2008 Vector.
