Yamaha calls out the stock rear wheels as 178mm.
Some of the billet wheel makers will call it a 7" diam wheel.
Bearing is a 6004.

Are you going to run the stock axel or go to an inside wheel kit. I think it depends on that answer for the bearing size. And if you are running studs you wont want to run billet wheels. Steel beats alum everyday!!!
OFT has billet wheels for all the different setups from using the stock axel to a inside kit. I ran their 3 wheel kit last year (scmurs reminded me the other night that I have the original set of black wheels) and they still look great.

I'm only running the billet wheels on the outside where there are no studs.

I measured my Yamaha rear wheels and they are more like 175mm than the advertized 178mm.
You can easily run bigger than 7" (178mm) rear wheels on an XTX without worries because of the tip up rail.
There are kits out there for straight rail skid frames, to relocate the rear axle for running bigger rear wheels, but generally you are going to a much bigger wheel when you do that.
