Since I made some changes to my sled (new front and rear bumpers, add 2" to the riser, changed the windshield), the Yamaha cover does not fit very well. I am looking for a cover for trailering. Does anyone have a recommendation?

Thanks.

strange thing for me when i added a front bumper and added bigger handlebars . My cover fit better lol i don't understand but i'm happy with it

The Skinz front bumper sticks out further than the OEM one. The Yamaha cover won't fit over the other ski spindle plus it wont cover the Skinz rear bumper - only stops at the storage box.

check out the Skinz Cover I've herd its pretty nice. They make their cover to fit over the skis and its stretched to fit. there amazing if your trailering on an uncovered trailer.

Why not take the Yamah cover to a good Canvas shop and get it altered to fit. May be cheaper.

I was thinking of the Skinz. If it was $100 cheaper it would be a no brainer. Maybe I will see what the cost is to get the Yamaha one altered.

SledGear makes one similar in style to the Skinz for half the price.

I usually don't cover when trailering except in warmer temp. Yesterday was -2 C and the sleds were caked in salt even under the cover. So much for the salt shield.

I will say that a friend of mine has it for his artic cat and when it comes to the flapping in the wind at 75 - 80 on the interstate the skinz is 100 times nicer but I understand the money thing though you could try and sell your old cover for $50 - $100 to make up for it. Its just an idea.
