Thanks for answering all my questions guys. It's just coming up fast, and it has been years since i raced Xcountry. I may do this? Ill stay out of the way and just try to finish. Another question, why is it 2 days? Combined? Or 2 different scored events? I have a long trip and have to work on Monday. I'd rather not race Sunday. Open single place alum trailer behind my Rav4, gear bag and a tool box, game on!

I have a Pro Armor(i think) tether on my 700 Raptor i could steal? Dang i want to do this! I hope the doc goes ok, but then again, if not, what do i have to lose? I just don't want to break a bunch of rear skid parts.

Its a split race with diffrent sections eah day, in order to be scored both days must be ran. There is also 7-7-7 chanelege ran with it, they said is like the amsoil tripple crown but seth did not notice a diff from the I-500 with had it to. My drives are not short either coming form Iowa and am the only racer from Iowa. I will post pics on the site tommarow on the vest and wiring for the teather.

Thank you. The weather looks real cold too! About a 1000 mile round trip for me. Still want to do it.

Grafton was 1,100 round trip for me over 25 hours of travle becaues of the wreak. I when 70-8 the whole way there then 55 back. The wreck took 2 added on. It was was -20 that morning (dont know about night probley around -40). I road half the day without a windsheild did not bother me much.

Teahters are cheap and easy to install. You can race one day the race is a two day race for points on BOTH days. Different races and different days.

As far as staying out of the way you leave in timed intervals so if someone catches you just let them through. There are different classes so you should be able to find one Skill appropriate.


Its alot of fun nothing like it. You can go as fast as you dare without worried about some Wannabe racer coming the other way

Yea Orange Duct tape has been used alot to make things Legal. Duct tape or electrical tape numbers work well. Number are rely for backup and the transponder is primary.
