i'm going to pick up my new apex tommorrow from a private owner wi. Do I have to register it before i can ride it?
If your on your own property or private property (get permision please) no. If you want to run groomed trails or anywhere public where DNR can see you, you best get er registered!!

yes you will have to a reg.it in ill.if you want to ride it in il.the wi.sticker should still be good.i bought a new sled in il.reg. it in il. and wi.
most of my riding is in wi an mi.your sticker is good for two years

If its already registered I would ride it. If pulled over tell them your borrowing it. I would work it out with the previous owner a head of time first though just in case they get a call. Which may happen....
