IMG_2325.JPG Took my Nytro XTX out to the local snowcross track and found out real quick it wasn't up for the task. Would reinforcing the suspension rails with a cross shaft prevent this from happening again?

a cross shaft will interfere with arm when suspension compresses through its stroke.

Even if I mount it just above the hyfax it will interfere?

depends how close it comes to the track drive nubs.

are the factory reinforcements on yours steel or aluminum? cannot tell in the pic. i know my 11 apex ones are steel.

Call Robert at Star Suspension he has the arms you bent in Aluminum ( called aluminum pull rods). and it will go along with the linkage you have also. Good guy to deal with. He is busy but will get back to in do time.

Well I opted against the X-Brace mainly because of clearance issues. Not sure where I would've been able to put it. I installed a stock Yamaha cross shaft instead hoping this will help prevent the suspension rails from bowing out. Also installed the Star Pull Rods that are much thicker than stock.
