Removing Reverse???

I was thinking about removing my reverse. I never use it and it would lighten it up a little and make it easier to play with gearing. What do I need to remove it? New chaincase cover, etc.? Anyone? Thanks.

I've got a chaincase cover which you will need. I'm putting reverse on mine and will have some gears as well. Thats all the stuff you will need.

You may not think you use it,but when you want you'll be wishn' you had it,even all I use mine for is getting it off the truck ,it saves my back and that's worth every penny and once.

I thought that I don't need reverse, rode a demo-sled for my dealer for a couple weekends (with reverse) guess what its on my sled now. No one should be without Im sorry that i did not spend the$$ 2 years ago..

First thing I did order for my '03 RX-1, after killing my back lifting my SX700R moving it in my garage, was the reverse kit. I can't live without it.

are you insane thiese sleds need reverse unless your bionic

I Can not imagen having any rx1 apex or vector without reverce
I cant even get mine out of the truck without it

I would be willing to trade my non-reverse chaincase complete with gearing & chain for yours. I can get you the gearing ratio if you are interested. Mine is geared shorter and doesn't need to be because I run a turbo now.
P.S. I will include my stock gearing if you are interested.
